Through the years Peggy Pierrakos has been an avid contributor to local and global charities. She provided scholarships to local high school seniors and many foundations and charities. When she started Metro Housing Solutions,she wanted to implement that mindset into the business model. From the start Metro Housing Solutions has been a supporter of many charities and programs such as Hope 2 Haiti, Special Love, Street Light Outreach Ministries, and Caring House Project (just to name a few).
Peggy’s a proud member of the Maverick 1000 initiative which, on a global level, supports everything from building villages in Haiti to cleaning our oceans. Maverick1000 is an invitation only, global network of industry transforming entrepreneurs connecting in bold new ways to challenge and collectively support each other’s biggest business goals, engage in reinvigorating experiences and co-create a worldwide multiplier impact (to date raising over $3 million+).They believe their future is bigger than their past (regardless of what they’ve already achieved).
Part of our business model is giving and making a difference in our communities and around the world. A percentage of our profits from every property is applied to this impact fund because we at MHS believe that it’s everyone’s responsibility to help make the world be a better place, no matter how large or small the contribution. Our philosophy is that everyone has the ability and responsibility to make a difference.
