How is Metro Housing Solutions Different?
Moving is one of life’s most overwhelming events, often causing months of stress and uncertainty. We started Metro Housing Solutions in 2012 with a mission to simplify home selling. Since then, numerous homeowners have sold homes to Metro Housing Solutions.
Metro Housing Solutions empowers you with the freedom to move whenever you want, on your terms. If you’re selling, we can buy your home at a competitive price in days, eliminating the hassle of showings and months of uncertainty. Wherever you are in your home sale journey, a dedicated Metro Housing Solutions expert is available to guide you every step of the way.
Selling to Metro Housing Solutions is more convenient and certain than selling the traditional way because we give you an offer quickly and can buy your home when you are ready to sell. Metro Housing Solutions helps you skip the hassle of getting (and keeping) your home show-ready, the hassle of showings and the months of uncertainty.
We actually buy homes directly from homeowners and sell the homes we’ve purchased directly to people looking for their dream home. We also pair our customers with a dedicated, local, and experienced manager to help them with the transaction from start to finish.
Metro Housing Solutions is quite different than home flippers. Flippers typically look for undervalued and distressed homes sold in desperate circumstances, and aim for a minimum return of 25% on their purchase. In contrast, we buy homes in all conditions with smaller profit margins. Many times we can pay up to 90% of the Fair Market Value. This allows you to move on to the next chapter in your life.
Pricing and Costs
What do the transaction costs cover?
These costs cover the fees associated with a standard real estate transaction, like holding costs, daily financing interest, utilities, and maintenance. They also allow us to provide you with a hassle-free experience, enabling you to skip the showings, choose your close date and enjoy a simpler home sale. At Metro Housing Solutions, we take on the risks involved with selling so that you can move on to your next chapter.
Other costs may include:
•Closing Costs
•Closing costs are almost always covered by Metro Housing •Solutions!
•Realtor Commissions
Most properties are purchased directly from the homeowner and therefore no real estate commissions are owed.

How it Works
How long does the selling process take?
Since we are buying your home directly, we can close your home sale on your schedule, anywhere from 7 to 60 days – just let us know your desired closing date and we’ll be flexible with your schedule!
How do we determine the Metro Housing Solutions Offer price?
Just like real estate agents, we use public data like local market conditions, comparable sales in your neighborhood, property tax information and actual sale prices of the home over time. We then pair that with information provided by you, like your unique home characteristics, special features, upgrades and photos of the home.
How long will it take for me to receive an offer?
We will need to evaluate your property in person. At that time we will be able to let you know the best offer we can give you.
What happens after I sign the purchase and sales agreement?
Signing the agreement is the first step to move forward with selling your home. The next step is to schedule an inspection. We will work with you to select dates and times that work for you, and we’ll confirm a time for you right away. At the same time, our title company will order a title search to ensure we can close quickly.
How does the inspection process work?
The inspectors will require access to all rooms in your home, including garage, attic, and basement, as well as outdoor areas such as the yard and roof. We will send a Metro Housing Solutions representative to your home in addition to a third-party inspector, termite inspector, and potentially additional specialists depending on your unique home.
Why does Metro Housing Solutions do an inspection?
We, like most buyers, need to do our due diligence in assessing the condition of your property. The inspection will inform us of any additional unknown repairs that may be needed. An inspector will check the interior and exterior of your home, including the roof, plumbing and electrical systems, and major appliances.
How does the closing process work?
We will schedule the final walk-through usually a day or two before closing. On the closing date, we will meet with you at our attorney’s/title company’s office where all the closing paperwork will be signed.
What happens at the final walk-through?
A member of our team will visit your home and verify that all personal property and trash has been removed and that there is not any new damage done to the property. It’s entirely up to you if you’d like to be present during the final walk-through or if you would like to leave a key for us to access the home. The process should only take about 20 minutes to complete.
What happens to my home after I’ve sold it to Metro Housing Solutions?
You are free to move on with your life!
