Who We Are and What We Do
Metro Housing Solutions purchases properties and allows sellers to move on with their lives quickly.
At Metro Housing Solutions our goal is to offer a win/win solution. We want our clients to be comfortable, informed and knowledgeable. Even if your house needs repairs (big or small) and you do not want to invest the time or money into doing it, it’s no problem. We buy newly built homes, and homes 100 years old. We offer fair prices for houses in any condition (if they meet our buying criteria). Closing can occur in as little as 7-10 days, or when you are ready to move out. It’s up to you! We are happy to accommodate your schedule.
Other counties we are currently serving are Austin, TX, NC, and NJ. More counties coming soon.
Have you been trying to sell for awhile with no success? We may be able to offer a possible solution. Contact us today to discuss your property. It will only take 7-10 minutes of your time. If it meets our criteria, we will schedule a meeting with you (in person) and at that time we will be able to present you with an offer.
Counties we are currently purchasing in (but are not limited to) include the following areas; DC, Prince William, Fairfax, Loudoun, Fauquier, Stafford and Fredericksburg, VA. Even if you are not in these areas, but would like to speak with us about your home, please give us a call. Anthony D.
Successful Home Seller
“I owned an investment property for twelve years and had been renting it out to tenants. There were so many ups and downs that it was interfering with my primary business and I did not want to deal with it anymore. I was tired of constantly putting money in this property…”
A. Alkhatib
“…Having my real estate license, and knowing the market in Northern Virginia I never imaged it would take my husband and I so long to sell our home in Sterling”
Judy K.
Realtor
“…I did not want to deal with the headache of listing my property with a real estate agent. Having people come in and out of my home, thus causing me to leave for short periods of time. I had recently retired and was spending a lot of time at home relaxing. I also did not want to deal with the uncertainty”

Peggy (Nayia) Pierrakos
Chief Real Estate Strategist
Peggy grew up as Nayia in Greece. When she came to the United States her family wanted her to be more Americanized and she started going by Peggy. At the young age of 11, Peggy and her siblings came to the United States with their mother, seeking a better quality of life through the opportunities and higher education the United States offered, while her father remained in Sparta, Greece to continue caring for the family’s olive and orange tree groves. Full of change, she had to acclimate quickly in order to start adjusting to her new world. It was very challenging as she was an outsider and could not speak a word of English. That’s when her drive and determination began. With the help and support of amazing people around her Peggy quickly adjusted and also began to excel. She earned a marketing degree from Virginia Tech, started her first business at 23 and through a lot of hard work, trial and error, and perseverance became quite successful!
In the early 2000’s Peggy bought her first house at the age of 24 and from this experience decided to get her real estate license to learn more about the industry. She started off slowly and at a time where the market was peaking. Even with the downfall of the economy in 2008, when most people were getting out of the industry, she was more determined than ever to make a difference and help sellers facing situations they could not control. That’s when she started Metro Housing Solutions.
Peggy has many years of experience and has invested countless hours in educating herself to be able to provide solutions, even if that means she doesn’t buy your house. She places great value on being of service to others. Her philosophies and philanthropy have earned her tremendous respect amongst her peers. Giving forward is a way of life for her and a mindset that she is instilling in her three boys. She is an active member of their local community and take great pride in her Greek heritage. She enjoys and welcomes new experiences. She recently performed at the DC Improv where she will forever be remembered as the “Spartan Mom”! She contributes to countless local, national, international charities and organizations, with a portion of each property sale going to the MHS Impact Fund.
When not working Peggy enjoys traveling with her family locally and internationally. She views each trip as an opportunity for herself and her family to grow, learn and experience a new culture and way of life. When not traveling, or working, this full-time mom also enjoys the many varieties of entertainment and food that the DC metro area has to offer.
Dara Martin
Chief Operations Officer
Dara has an extensive backgro5und in the Real Estate industry spanning almost fifteen years. She began her career as a Marketing Director for a small title company and caught the real estate bug! She’s conducted hundreds of closings over the years and was also a licensed real estate agent. Being a licensed agent was not what she expected. She was not always able to help clients and potential clients and that was frustrating. She made the decision to give her real estate license up and work the “inside” of the industry. From there she worked as a Business Office Manager for a national ranking team that generated close to two hundred million in sales! It was while there that she was contacted by a long-time friend and Real Estate Coach &Investor, Peggy Pierrakos, asking if she wanted to join her at her company Metro Housing Solutions. After meeting and hearing the vision and direction that Peggy wanted to take her company, it was not a hard decision to make! The vision and potential impact was far more in tune with her personal beliefs and philosophies than where she was currently working, so she decided to make the change. (Almost two years later, the vision and growth is still just as fresh and alive!)
She’s the very proud mom of two grown children and a cat. When not working, she enjoys being outside in nature. She also volunteers teaching housing classes through Prince William County and as a bunny judge at the local county fair! Her passions include art, horses, animals, hiking, reading and yoga.
She’s excited to be available in this capacity to help homeowners know the different options available to them and to be a part of helping them make the best decision for them. Being a part of enabling a homeowner to make a decision that works best for their needs is a great feeling!
